  • Provides no-cost access to mammography and diagnostic breast cancer services for low-income, uninsured women under 40 years of age living in the Bay Area.

  • Serves women in the Napa County who are uninsured or Medi-Cal population: 1) to track all women patients’ breast health screening and 2) to have a fund to cover the following screening included but not limited to mammography, ultrasounds, surgeon consultations and/or biopsies.

  • Assists women and their families with the emotional, social, and practical aspects of living with breast cancer.  Services include support groups for children, teens, and adults; home-based counseling and volunteer assistance to help with day-to-day living.

Breast Cancer Support Program

  • Provides women and their families with an opportunity to deal with the physical and emotional challenges that arise when coping with breast cancer through a weekly support group.  Support group addresses issues such as: shock, disbelief and fear of the unknown future.  In addition, a bi-weekly support group provides caregivers with information and support needed to care for their loved ones.

Anna’s Program

  • Developed to improve the quality of life for women with metastatic breast cancer learn how to care for themselves and their families during times of recurrence.  Also assists families to cope with their own fears and uncertainties as they learn how best to support and care for their loved one with metastatic breast cancer.

Outreach and Education Coordinator for American Indians

  • Comprehensive breast health outreach program targeting American Indian women in Homboldt, Trinity, and Del Norte counties.

Latina Breast Cancer Agency

Latina Advocacy/In-Home Support Program and Door-to-Door Outreach Program

  • Hospital-based programs to provide support, translation, education and advocacy services to low-income, monolingual Latina diagnosed with breast cancer.  The Door-to-Door outreach program is in collaboration with St. Luke’s Hospital and San Mateo Medical Canter, and developed to increase awareness and importance of breast health within the Latino community.

Food Project for Women Battling Breast Cancer

  • Provides daily preparation and delivery of meals, free of charge, to homebound women fighting breast cancer.  Our fifty percent of the meals are prepared to accommodate the individual dietary needs or restrictions of patients battling breast cancer.

  • Provides access to breast cancer screening services for women with disabilities.

Comprehensive Psychosocial support for Women with Breast Cancer

  • Provides education and support group services to women with breast cancer in the East Bay.  Services provided include; a) Newly diagnosed breast cancer eight week series; b) Bi-monthly breast cancer support group; c) Breast cancer educational program; d) Return to wellness ten week series; and e) Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month program.

Community Town Hall Meetings on Breast Cancer

  • Presents a Town Hall Meeting on breast cancer in the Outer Mission Neighborhood of San Francisco as well as provide breast cancer screening and complementary clinic alternatives.
