Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a volunteer driven organization dedicated to eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment. Volunteers carry the powerful message of the Foundation and its work to their communities. Through training, a volunteer has the ability to be a tremendous representative of the Organization. In many ways, volunteers are just as important to Komen as donations of money. Volunteers enable the organization to strengthen existing programs, add new programs, procure funds and resources, add specialized skills and talents and increase public awareness of services. Volunteers are the corner stone of our organization. They support the structure of Komen. They make programs happen. Consider joining this astounding, resourceful group and join the Komen Team.
