Affiliate Network

The Komen Foundation has more than 75,000 dedicated volunteers working through a network of more than 100 Affiliates worldwide, making it the most progressive grassroots organization in breast cancer today. Through programs like the Komen Race for the Cure® series and other fundraising and awareness events, Komen Affiliates raise tens of millions of dollars each year to help fight breast cancer.

Since its inception, the San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate has awarded grants totaling over $9 million dollars to local organizations (link to this year’s grantees) that have made valuable contributions to breast cancer education, screening and patient support.
